Meet Pinku Ratti, the co-founder of Punjabi Dhadkan Dance Academy. Born and raised in Punjab, Pinku has been immersed in the vibrant culture and folk dance traditions from a young age. Her early participation in school competitions and events ignited a lifelong passion for dance. In 2017, she joined forces with her great friend, Dimple Bains, to start Punjabi Dhadkan Dance Academy, with a vision to preserve and promote Punjabi folk dance. Today, the academy is a flourishing hub of cultural expression, thanks to Pinku and Dimple’s exceptional leadership and dedication. As both an administrator and a passionate teacher, Pinku works tirelessly with students of all ages, from beginner youngsters to adults, teaching traditional giddha. Her infectious enthusiasm and love for teaching inspire her students, fostering a deep appreciation for the rich heritage of Punjabi dance. Through her efforts, Pinku ensures that the traditions of Punjab continue to thrive in the hearts of future generations.
